Jesse Hackett’s superb new album of gothic chamber jazz is out today.

I’ll be shipping out all the Bandcamp pre-orders over the weekend, the record will be hitting shops courtesy of Honest Jon’s Distribution, and you can stream the album in full on your favourite app.
Boomkat have this to say about the album:
“Hackett came up with the album after long nights with Accidental alumnus Peters going back and forth over music from Erik Satie, Oliver Messiaen and Charles Mingus. Peters is a worthy collaborator, matching Hackett's limber piano performance (and subtle production touches) with evocative, breathy soundscapes that sound as if they've been recorded straight to 1/2" tape in some elegant leather-clad '70s Italian studio…It's gorgeous, expressive stuff - all that's missing is the grainy 16mm-shot visual accompaniment.”
You can listen to the album in full here:
We have a new pricing policy for digital releases on Bandcamp - all single albums will be priced at £5 and all double’s at £8. At just slightly more than the price of a posh coffee (here in the U.K. and in much of Europe) our albums are a total bargain and we’d certainly appreciate it if you choose to pay more. We also hope the new pricing is less exclusionary for music fans in other parts of the world. Everything you pay is split equally between the label and the artist.
X Marc
